Lead Auditor Course on ISO 14001:2015, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh

Five days Lead auditor course on ISO14001:2015 (Environmental Management System) has been organized by the department of Environmental Science, Jahangirnagar University with the collaboration of Global Sustainable Certification Service Ltd (GSCS). Global Sustainable Certification Service Ltd. (GSCS) is the only organization in Bangladesh to run Five days Lead Auditor Course on ISO 14001:2015 with the collaboration of public University.

Mr. Abdul Mottaleb, the President & Managing Director of Global Sustainable Certification Services Ltd. conducted the session as a Lead Trainer.

In this course, participants learned:

  • The purpose of an EMS and explain the principles, processes and techniques used for the assessment and management of environmental aspects, including the significance of these for EMS auditors.
  • The content and interrelationship of ISO 14001, the ISO 14000 series guidance standards, and the legislative framework relevant to an EMS.
  • The role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit in accordance with ISO 19011.
  • The role of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an audit in accordance with ISO 19011 and by interpreting the requirements of ISO 14001.

The training course methodology was consisting of lectures, experimental learning using task, group discussions among others, practical insight into conducting audit, case study and role play, group exercise.

The training course was attended by 11 participants. Certificate has been awarded to successful participant.
